Jesus

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year is now!

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”

That is totally me in my PJ’s with the most beautiful gingerbread house you have ever seen!

My husband and I put together our second gingerbread house last night (the first being in 2023). Isn’t it perfect? Well, maybe not artistically perfect, but the time we spent together laughing at our lack of icing skills was. I am so grateful for every moment we can spend together. And, so far this year our dog, Cinnamon, hasn’t ruined it!

And I would like to thank my friend who gave me simmer pot ingredients and made my home smell delicious, even before I started cooking Christmas dinner!

I spent a little time reflecting on Christmas the other day. I understand fully that not everyone loves Jesus as I do. While I wish everyone knew Jesus as Lord and Savior, I believe quite strongly that everyone has a God-given free will to live how they want. I hope and pray that you will open your heart to the possibility of a savior this Christmas by attending a church service or Christmas pageant. In the mean time, take a look at this Bible journaling page I completed yesterday. I love Jesus and I am so grateful that he saved my life.

I used part of an Advent kit from Illustrated Faith from a couple years ago (I love their products for Bible journaling). While I usually am not a fan of pink and red together, I made an exception — I do love the color combination on this page.

I wish you and yours the merriest of Christmases. Have a wonderful holiday and hold your family and friends close.
